Tiburón blanco, dos palabras que inmediatamente al escucharlas o leerlas llaman la atención, causan al mismo tiempo, terror y admiración, y sin importar cuál es tu pensamiento o sentimiento, es casi imposible no dar al menos una rápida mirada hacia aquello que tiene tan fascinantes palabras.

Biografía del autor/a

Erick C. Oñate González, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León

Está adscrito a la Facultad de Ciencias Biológicas (FCB) de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL). Licenciatura en Biología por la Facultad de Estudios Superiores-Iztacala (FES-I) de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM); maestría por el Centro de Investigaciones Científicas y de Educación Superior de Ensenada (CICESE); doctorado en Ecología Marina, por el CICESE. Profesor titular A, de tiempo completo de la FCB de la UANL y del Posgrado en Ciencias del Mar y Limnología de la UNAM. Integrante del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI) Nivel C. Su especialidad es Ecología Poblacional y Pesquera. Ha publicado 5 artículos científicas en revistas indizadas, 2 capítulos de libros y 2 artículos en revistas de divulgación. Ha sido revisor de artículos para tres revistas científicas indizadas, así como revisor de trabajos para dos congresos nacionales. Ha dirigido hasta el momento 2 tesis de licenciatura. Ha presentado 7 trabajos en congresos nacionales e internacionales. Miembro y encargado del comité editorial de la Sociedad Mexicana de Peces Cartilaginosos. Actualmente es responsable del Laboratorio de Ictiología y Colección Ictiológica de la FCBUANL.”
